Halfway There Travelers? What’s that about?
Dick and Tracey Dramstad moved from Montana to Massachusetts after college way back in 1982. One of the reasons that we picked the Boston area for work was that we would be halfway to Europe, where we hoped to regularly travel. It took a long time for that to actually happen, though.
All this time we of course did travel around the U.S., especially back home to Montana, but 30 years later (after the minor diversions of raising two sons) we finally went more than halfway for our first real trip to Europe – a Viking River Cruises on the Seine from Paris to Normandy. We’ve been hooked ever since.
As the end of 2019 we went on our seventh Viking River cruise in Portugal. In 2021 we took our first Viking Ocean cruise, and then returned to Europe at the end of 2022 for an Elbe cruise with an extension in Poland. We’ll be using this blog to share information about our travels. We also plan to post tidbits from our previous trips with Throwback Thursday Trip Pictures (#TBTTP).
We’d like to hear from you. Please post in the comments section on our blog entries.
