Ahead of our Rhône river cruise through Provence with Viking in 2018, we took an all-day wine tour with Olivier Hickman of Wine Uncovered that we wrote about in our post: Our Wine Tour in the Southern Rhône.
We are delighted to learn that Olivier is now also sharing his deep knowledge of wine on his YouTube channel, and his first video is all about terroir, the French term for the environmental factors that affect the taste and flavors of a wine. Until you can travel once again to Provence and book a tour of your own with Olivier (highly recommended!), for now you can at least appreciate his wit and knowledge of wine on YouTube.
